Welcome to Melbourne!

Today I checked into the Victoria Hotel in Melbourne's CBD. It seems like a hotel that has been in existence for a long time and had things like a restaurant. Hurrah!

My room was a bit "compact and bijou" and I had an excellent view of the back of another building, but it could have been worse!

Room 747 (kind of appropriate somehow for an international traveller such as myself) located within the rabbit warren that is the Victoria Hotel. Melbourne is the home of 'Neighbours' - note the face of Harold Bishop on the TV.
